i am a big believer in fate...however, i don't believe that fate has complete and utter control of our lives...yes indeedy boys n girls...i believe that there is much more to it that just that.

i think that fate guides us and along our way and shows us different paths...like forks in the road with no sign...and its up to us to pick the path that we want to take...the path that leads us to where we will eventually be..
just as much as i believe in fate, i believe that our life is up to us...and fate is like a guidebook that shows us interesting things that we could see if we choose to see. likewise, there are things that we could choose not to see because we think it'll be boring or there's an entrance fee that we dont really want to pay.
nothing is set in concrete, though.
fate just shows us glimpses of different possibilites that could become our life..
but eventually it's up to us where we go.

i also believe that we are all connected. we are all a part of each other's fate. sometimes in good ways, sometimes not.
some people we don't end up meeting because of the path we decided to meander down. and some people we do.
i often wonder where my life would be had i not come to the valley..so many things wouldn't have happened..i wouldn't have gone to uni..wouldn't have gone overseas...wouldn't have met linnie...then met renee through linnie...and met sam through renee..i wouldn't be here...i wouldn't be where i am now...i wouldn't be sitting in bed drunk writing stupid emails to straight chicks...i'd probably be in melbourne and married to ben *laughs*..with a few kids..*shudders*..

its we're all connected in one way or another.
and so are we..
just like 6 degrees of kevin bacon.

but that's enough for now. the alcohol has kicked in and i need to know the mental health act by 9am tomorrow...
