well my first day at monash was brilliant..

mind you, it was all pretty much orientation day, and we didn't do much more than sit around and talk and look around the wards..but after getting up at 6am, it was good to have a lazy one.
our clinical educator is fantastic (much better than the dumb ass from my gastro placement)...which is good, because a good educator can make all the difference between a good and bad placement. and to top it all off, she was fairly laid back in letting us work out our own rosters. thankfully, i have a late tomorrow, so i can sleep in until at least 11am!!! which is always good...only bad thing is, it means i wont be getting up early again with the grrl...because i really enjoyed spending that little extra time with her this morning..

anyway

i have lots of work to do on this placement though...not only is neurology/neuroscience such a specialised field with so much to learn, but jo wants all of our client profiles (kinda like a clinical assignment) done by the start of next week so that she can send our overall mark off to the board of examiners. she also said she'd be happy to give us our exam result if we called her on friday. god i hope i did well..

but anyway...i'm wrecked....and really need to go lay down and harass the grrl..
