well they're all over and done with!!!

yup...as of 3:30pm yesterday afternoon, i became officially *exam free*...how fuckin wonderful is that!?!?!!?!?!!!!

yesterday's exam (on 'research in nursing') was a multi-choice exam...it started at 2:30pm..with 10min reading time...and i was done with it just before 3pm...it was wonderful! *laughing*...i'm not quite sure how much of it i got right, but i knew of at least 50/100 that were correct...so i'm pretty damned sure i passed...

and my nursing exam on thursday totally rocked! i wont say it was easy (coz i'll either sound really smary or really arrogant)...but it wasn't overly challenging...we had 3 hours in which to do it and i was done in just one 2. there was lots of writing though..lots, and lots of writing on the nursing management of patients...

but anyway...it's all over and done with now...and god damned it feels great to be free of the strain..

i only wish i had a little break though..because on monday i start a 4-week placement at monash med centre...4-weeks is a hella long time...especially when we're not getting paid. not that it's about the money...but it really costs heaps to do just one week of clinicals (petrol, parking, lunch...whatnot)..the least they could do is give us some incentive..

but oh well..

so today the grrl and i are going to trek across the city to pick up my sister and head to nan's nursing home...it's her 82nd birthday, so we're gonna take her over a cake and some pepsi (it's kinda contraband on account of her diabetes, but pfft...she's 82 years old...let her OD on it if she wants!)...and a present....nan'll love it...coz she hasn't seen my sister in ages. i just hope all goes well cuz the grrl and the sister dont exactly see eye-to-eye...but yeah...

anyway, i need to go get dressed..
