damn..i forgot crossing jordan was on tonite and i only just realized now. great - i'm sure the last 5 minutes of it will be brilliant.
oh well..
kater came over for dinner tonite. mum cooked chickem & vegie soup and roast turkey and roast vegies and stuff and it was great. it's funny, coz now that kater lives only 10minutes away i seem to see her less...actually, that's not really funny, it's odd...but at least when we do catch up it's all good. tonite was great. she got here about 6, and after dinner we sat around the table and yakked for a few hours and we haven't done that in ages..
over the course of the nite kate downed 2 bottles of merlot on her own so by 9 she was on a roll and definately at her best *chuckle*...i think we need to have more nites like tonite.
it was good coz we got to chat in a way that we haven't really done since..well, since way back when i was with linda and i used to open up my deepest darkest thoughts to her. and now, tonite, it was like that. except the content had changed - coz now she has ant and i have sam and we have these great chicks and fantastic relationships to talk about.
but yeah..i'm babbling now...
my baby called me tonite...she's so sweet...i love how she calls me everynite...i love it, i love it, i love it *smiling*..anyway...she called me to tell me that she can't deal with the thought of us having the next 2 weeks apart, so she's gonna come down here on saturday after netball and she'll stay until she leaves for work on monday morning. so yeah, i am VERY happy about that - coz i really wasn't looking forward to not seeing her until next weekend...
tonite while kate and i were sharing our thoughts on relationships and love she told me that she has "no doubt about how much sam loves me"..hearing that just makes me feel so good. coz while i know that i love sam and she loves me - it's good to know that other people see/feel it too.
but again, i'm babbling..
i'm so tired at the moment but i really don't wanna go to bed. i should though, coz simone is coming to visit tomorrow and i'm guessing we're going to have somewhat of a big day.
mmmmmm an hour has passed since i started writing so i'm gonna go before my brain turns even more into mush.
