but yeah
kater came over before, and we had dinner and she fixed robbies computer and stuff, and she's spent the last 2 hours watching a movie ["Georgia" with Jennifer Jason Leigh ~ sam and i went on a mad ex-rental video buying binge on saturday] while i searched through all the boxes in my wardrobe in search of my birth certificate and my passport.
for the last month i've tried to visit my sister, but they keep on telling me that "you don't have 100points worth of [current] ID..come back when you get more", so i figure if i'm armed with my bank card, my medicare card, my student ID card, my passport AND my birth certificate - they will have to ESCORT me in to see nicky. so yeah...hopefully next weekend i'll be able to see her. man, she probably thinks i've forgotten about her *guilty* although, i've been sending her on average 3 letters a week, so i'm hoping she knows i do actually give a rats ass about her. it's just a pity that now since she's been transferred i have to drive 3 hours to tarrengower, when i could have just seen her in deer park *d'oh!* but i guess it's better at tarra, coz now sam can at least meet my jail-bird sister in a relatively *nice* setting, instead of in the concrete jungle that is deer park - ugh.
so yeah...while searching thru all those boxes in search of more ID, i came to the conclusion that i am an insane hoarder, and i simply have too much shit. bleh - i found stuff that i should have destroyed YEARS ago..i found letters..photos...cards...note...crayon scrawled poems...napkins with phone numbers...old diaries...*shaking my head* and i'm worrying that, if i have that much shit here, HOW much am i going to have to sort through when i finally get off of my ass and go through all of my shit at linda's. which, just between us, is something that i'm not really looking forward to doing.
so yeah, kater and i went to linda's today so that kater could fix nikki's computer. nikki was silly enough to let linda format her hard drive thingy, and somehow linnie managed to lose an entire GIG from it..hehehe..trust linda to do something that talented! but yeah...kater looked and looked, but there was no trace of the missing GIG...so nikki wasn't very happy....hehehe...go linnie! i was yakking to linda today, and she seems much happier than she did last month - which is good. she's a good person, and i'm glad she's happy. i just hope all that shit with nikki doesn't rear it's ugly head again. they seemed much happier today, tho..
so tomorrow morning kater and i are heading off into morwell to look inside a few of the houses that we saw today. i'm pretty excited at the thought of kater actually moving up here, even thought i'm hardly ever up here any more. but at least it will make my trips back here much more enjoyable. she's even looking at 3 bedroom places so that i'll have a room of my very own. but at least now with kater moving up here i have a good reason to get off of my ass and get my furnature from linda's house - so that kater can use it now.
