so i went back to the bike shop before to pick up my new toy, only to be told that the tyres i wanted (big, fat, aggressive looking ones) weren't in stock..
d'oh!
so it looks like i'll be waiting a few more days before i can go riding into maffra or the surrounding towns. it's probably a good thing it wasn't ready for me today, cuz it's pissing down outside and i'd probably end up killing myself if i went riding around town in this weather...so yeah...bring on thursday i say!!!
because the salesguy was so nice to me and didn't try selling me a $1200 bike so that he could get extra from the comission, i decided to lash out and buy a shitload of extras (car bike rack, lights, bike lock, tyre pump..so on) to make up for it..
i'm really excited about it, though...cuz i can't wait to go riding. i remember how much i used to love it when i was younger, how invigorating it was, and i'm looking forward to that again..

but for now i needa go shower...i've decided to go watch the hot doc's play netball tonite..and who knows, i may even decide to join in..
