after a hectic week at work and a rather alcohol-indulging weekend, i decided to have a quiet one at home last night.
so i curled up in bed and decided to watch a few of my recent dvd purchases.
and wouldn't you know it, just as i was getting into the directors cut of "stargate" (the movie), my god damned, piece-o-shit tv decided to go ka-boooom and blow up on me..
d'oh..
and i was really getting into the movie.
so this morning i called hardly normal all pissy and whinging about how i've spent a few thousand dollars there over the last few months..and the least they can do is come out and replace my tv. mum said they came out to the house pretty quickly..but unfortunately they no longer have my tv in stock..so i will have to upgrade and pay the difference. not that i mind..cuz i was thinking it was time i got myself a bigger tv (mind you, i've only had this one for all of 6 months)..so hopefully tomorrow mum can go out to hardly normal, find one that i'd approve of, and pay the difference. so that i can get back to watching "stargate".
heh..
but enough of that..

on the work front things are going along pretty well.
i'm just at the beginning of my 4th week here in theatre and i've gotta say that i'm enjoying it. absolutely loving it.
totally..
sure it gets a little monotonous at times (especially in recovery)..but all in all there's heaps to learn here...and i'm definately making myself known.

also on the work front, i guess i should let people know that i got the position at the prison that i applied for. it's not much different to what i'm already doing, only i'm getting paid ata higher and more senior rate, and it's also a permanent position so now i'll be accuring sick days, holiday leave, and what not...so it's all good.
lets hope this luck keeps on going my way and i get the job at LRH that i applied for a few months ago..
heh..
then i'll really be set.
