my grrl is sick..

in fact...she's been sick so much all day that her mother had to take care of her...and here i was...almost 200kms away not doing anything near as important enough to have good reason not to be right there beside her, playing nurse maid..

it's times like this (knowing that she's sick)..that makes me resent being here even more..*sigh*..and knowing that i'm stuck here for at least the next 2 days makes it even worse..i just wanna go home..to her..
..now..
and be there with her..and cuddle up with her...and do all the things that loving partners are supposed to do when their better-half is sick..

i sms'd her before...to say goodnight and what not...and in her reply she told me she'd felt a bit sad and unloved because i hadn't called or sms'd her at all thoughout the day...and i don't blame her - cuz i know i'd feel pretty upset if i was at home sick and she was away and didn't contact me at all. sometimes i can be an ass of a partner..

so i told mum tonite that as soon as my thing is over at the hospital on tuesday, then i'm heading back to melbourne..mum was a lil bit disappointed, and gave me that "i wish you'd stay" look...but i just can't...
2 nights up here seems to be my limit..3 nights tops...any more than that, and i'm pulling my hair out..

..anyway..i should go to bed so i'm wide awake for this fucking boring centrelink thingy tomorrow...
