ok..so this morning i found out (rather unexpectedly) that i didn't get into forensicare...mmmm...i'm not as bummed as i thought i would be, but i think that's because i've spent the last few weeks coming to terms with the fact that i wasn't going to be accepted there, anyway..
in fact, i ddin't get matched with any of my 3 choices - which i guess really doesn't come as that much of a surprise..
so it looks like next year (well...starting from december, if i can) i will be a jail bitch..which really, isn't that far from what i wanted to do at forensicare, anyway...only real difference between forensicare and the jail is that forensicare pays for their grad's to do post grad certificates in mental health..

so yeah..

i think the grrl's a bit worried that i'm putting on a brave face..but it's not that bad. sure the jail is 3 hours from here..and its going to mean another year of travelling and long-distance lovin..but if she's preparred to make the effort then so am i..

anyway, i need to get back to my major assignment...at least now i can just direct it at straight correctional nursing rather than forensic nursing (as the assignment has to reflect what we're going to do in our grad year)...cuz trying to write about both types of nursing was driving me bonkers..
