so the grrl and i had a fantastically wonderful day together yesterday..
after our shitty start to the day before...and just as tearing ending to that night, we woke up to a new day and left all the shif from the past 24hours behind..
yes i am an insecure little shit at the moment...and yes..i finally opened up and told her so...and it felt great. sure, the tears and stuff weren't such a great feeling...but it was good to let my silly little insecurities and fears out...
so yeah..
yesterday morning we headed into town to meet up with kater and ant to go to the zoo *smiling*..
it was a great day..fantastic..
i love the zoo...
and loved it even more getting to spend a day there with the grrl and my mates.
afterwards we all went for coffee in brunswick street..and then headed back to the motel that kater and ant were staying up in the heart of the city..it was relaxing..and great to catch up with them both.
after relaxing and catching up, we caught a tram into carlton and had a lovely dinner together...the grrl and i were both very relaxed and loving (with each other *giggle*) and kater and ant were their usual selves..after dinner, we caught a cab back to the motel and amused ourselves in the pool for a little while..at least until some security chick came in and told us to start wrapping our swim up..
the grrl got a little feisty in the pool (*BIG grin*)..and thankfully was just as feisty when we got home..hehehe...
but it was a great ending to a fantastic night..and i'm just glad that we didn't let the shit from the previous day come between us.
that's the most wonderful thing about the grrl and i...we can fight, scream, cry, say awful things..but at the end of the day, we know we love each other and together can overcome the worst.
and that is one of the many reasons why i adore her.
