i think i really need to develop an appreciation (if not just an understanding) for aussie rules football..

the other nite, the grrl and i got invited to watch a game at coloniel (or whatever they changed the name too) to sit in some special seat in some special box...but we didn't go coz she knew i'd absolutely hate ir, even thought she would have truely loved it..

and tonite...tonite we were going to watch DVD's, but the footy came on and she wanted to watch it.
not that i mind (coz it gives me an excuse to play online)..but i wish i could lay in the next to her and watch it and get as excited as she does about the game.
afterall, i know nothing about it, and half of the time, dont even know the names of the teams..
i wonder if there is some kinda crash course "AFL for Dummies" course I can take...

coz i would...
i really would...
just so all winter long i could lay down and enjoy watching the footy with her..
