mmmmm...the grrl went back to work this morning, and already i'm missing her like crazy *sigh*...

it's been just over a year since the last time she had holidays and we got to spend 2 whole weeks together (mind you, she was only semi-conscious as she'd had her wisdom teeth out *ouch*)...and it was really a well-earned and very-much-needed break together..
i just wish it had have been longer....coz looking back on the last 2 weeks, it doesn't seem like we had any time at all..*more sighs*..but hopefully she'll get another lot of holidays in september when i go on my community clinical..and if i do end up going to broken hill hospital for them, hopefully the grrl will come along too..

but anyway..

so our weeekend was pretty uneventful. although, we did go out with alison and rach on saturday nite, to be in the studio audience for some new comedy show that's airing next week. it was ok, and probably would have been a little more enjoyable had we not been stuck in the same spot for three hours. i tell ya, i have the attention span of a gnat.
afterwards, the 4 of us went off to tease. a few months ago they switched the venue for it, and we'd all been wanting to go check it out but never could seem to get around to it.so we all planned that saturday nite at the new tease would be a big one...but the cruddy venue and insanely high prices for drinks ($5 for shitty beer..and $3 for half a glass of coke) kinda put a dampner on that...but at least now we all know what it's like, and we won't be making the mistake of going back..

hopefully we're all gonna go out again this friday nite, and make up for not wanting to drink on saturday nite. i would have liked a few drinks the other nite (had i had extra money to afford them) but knowing i still had my assignment to finish, i wasn't gonna dare do anything that might have given me a nasty hangover..but now the dreaded assignment is done and almost in the mail (i'm sending this one in) i can relax...at least until my research one is due...UGH..

god i hope she hurry's home tonite..
