god, i had so much i was going to do today...was gonna go into the city, put some money on mum's lay by...maybe have lunch with uncle..go visit nanna...but instead, i've just spent the last 5 hours sitting on my ass playing around on my computer and downloading south park..*shaking my head*..i'm so fucking lazy. i'm also supposed to go down the street and buy some toiletries for the grrlie and i, but i can't see that happening any time soon - but at least i still have a few hours to do it before she gets home from work.

linda called me before..she's gone back to the valley for a shift at the hospital, and then she'll be back here with her grrl. it's good to see her happy after the whole fuckmongrel incident..coz, to be totally honest, i was beginning to think that she'd bever get over that one. but this new woman, janine, is just lovely. yeah, ok, so i think i can vaguely remember saying something nice like that about fuckmongrel a few years ago - but this woman really is sweet. and more importantly, she treats linda how linda deserves to be treated.
this chick is a little older than linnie, and possibly a little worldlier..she also seems a little arty which i think will be good for lin - it'll open her mind up to all the wonderous stuff that's out there just waiting to be explored.. linda said before that she really likes this chick because she can "hold a conversation with her"..i got a tad narky and asked her what was that supposed to mean, and she said she couldn't ever talk to me because i was too "smart for her"...god, after all this time i didn't know she ever felt like that. not that it matters now, but really, c'mon, it might have helped about 4 years ago if i'd have known she felt like that..
linda is probably one of the wisest people that i know...she's the first person i go to for advice, and she's the last person who'se words of wisdom i'd ignore..i can't believe she'd think that she couldn't talk to me..but i guess, looking back, it makes a lot of sense..
but anywho..
lin and janine make a cute couple..
hopefully, all going well, the 4 of us will get together on the 9th and go to a jess mcavoy gig together...which will be good. i'd like to get to know janine a little better, and i'd also like her to know (from the beginning) that i'm not as much of an evil ex as some people would have her believe *laughing*. sam told me not too long ago, that my friendship with linda can seem quite threatening, especially at first...and i know that fuckmongrel wasn't too keen on lin and i being mates, and we all know that the grrlie didn't like it very much - but hopefully janine won't have a problem with it. after that first nite that we all went out and linda met janine, lin told me that janine thinks it's very important for ex's to remain friends..
let's just hope that doesn't change any time soon *laughing*
