my first day on the mid ward was simply amazing..
i had worried that i was going to absolutely hate it, but 5 minutes into it and i was in love with all the adorable little babies.
there was one, a little asian boy, and he was so beautiful..i swear i got clucky just looking at him.

so i'm in a much better mood today...i dont know if it was the 6am wake up call, or being surrounded by so many happy people - but whatever it was, i am thankful for it. for the last few days i've been such a negative, whinging little ass..but now..now i'm just all smiles.
my grrl was online before, and we were chatting, and everything just felt *right* again..i was soooo glad to *see* her, even though all i could see were her words on my computer screen. i'm so looking forward to her coming down here on friday nite..*smiling*. it's been a while since she's been down here, and i even cleaned up my room for her *laughing*.
i'm also looking forward to going to the rainbow room on saturday nite. before the rainbow room, linnie and kater are having a bbq..and the grrl's coming along and i really hope that everything goes well. lately, with all the craziness between the grrl and i, i have been worried that sam would be extra anti-linda on the weekend, but i hope that she's not. i know that i'm asking a lot of sam to have her come with me, but she's my partner and it means a lot to me that she gets along with my friends, and is able to hang out with us..mum and rob are coming along, too, so it should be interesting, if nothing else.

so my *make up* science exam is on wed morning, and i swear, i'm so gonna fail...yeah yeah, i know i say that every time, but i really haven't studied enough. so unless i already know enough as it is, i'm screwed. but, all i really need is a pass, so i'm not going to aim high.
i'll be so happy when everything to do with school finishes up..i still have until december 13 before clinicals finish, and another 2 weeks on top of that to write up my assignments, so hopefully by mid january, i'll be free *smiling* (at least until march).
i had to sign up (online) for my timetable next year, and if all goes well, i should have 2 days on campus a week (monday and wednesday). so yeah..that means much more time with my grrl..
