well my 3 fantastic weeks off finally came to an end, and i just finished my first lecture..
ugh...2 whole hours of dna and protein synthesis and stuff that really, i will never ever need to explain to a patient. who really cares how dna replicates?? as long as it does, everything is fine..at least that's my opinion..
but there is something almost soothing about being back here and studying..i guesss i've spent such the greater part of my life in some kind of school or another that it's only natural that i should feel *comfortable* here...but i must admit, i really am looking forward to this year wrapping up, and then having 3 whole months off to do nothing but harass the grrl...this last semester back has whizzed by so quickly, and i only hope that the next 2 will go by as fast aswell..

this time last year i was such a mess..well, maybe not a *mess*, but my school was certainly the last thing on my mind..but now this semester, with everything that has happened, seems to have been my most productive. it's strange how that works..although i'm not complaining..
my marks so far are going really well..so for that reason alone i'm glad that i decided to repeat this semester...sure, right now i could be sitting back enjoying the fact that my degree is completed..but i'm sure had i not fucked up last year and taken 6 months off that the grrl and i would not be here today..so i guess everything really has turned out perfectly..

but yeah, i had a great morning with mum this morning...she took me out shopping and spoilt me silly as she always does...it's just a pity that i had to be home by 2 go get ready for my 3 o'clock class, otherwise i'm sure we would have done more damage to her bank account..hahaha...we also started our christmas shopping today...god i can't believe there's only a few weeks left until christmas...and i'm so unpreparred. although, i'm not buying for many people this year..probably just mum and robbie and the grrl (and maybe the grrl's cute lil nephews) so it should be a cheap one...
anyway it's almost 5:30 and i wanna go home and have dinner...after the last 2 days of living off of toast and bread, i think i have a lot to make up for tonite..
