january 30 - more rambling.. [2002-01-30 @ 4:34 p.m.]
well i'm still at kate's waiting for my undies to dry...and i'm bored out of my mind...it must be a sad sad life when the internet no longer entertains me *sigh*
sam's online and we're chatting [in between her working and me doing the laundry] but i just can't wait for her to get home from work. it's funny, we just spent 5 days together and i just want more*more sighs*. because she had to work over new years, her boss gave her 2 days off...so with the australia day weekend and the days off, she had 5 whole days off....so we went to churchill so that i could visit my family and stuff, and then on the saturday we headed up to lakes entrance ..it was the best nite. kater and anthea were heading up there to stay at ant's parents holiday-place...and sam and i pitched our huge-ass 5man tent in some holiday/caravan park not far from the beach...by the time we got there we didn't get to do much sight-seeing, but i didn't mind coz it meant we got to snugghle together in our tent and hide from the mosquitos. that night kate and ant came over and we all had a few drinks, and at the stroke of midnite sam and i wished each other a happy anniversary coz the 27th was our 3rd month anniversary...*yippee*
3 whole months toghether...and it's just been the best few months. it's funny, coz 3 months is so not very long in the big scheme of things, but it just feels like we've been together forever. not forever in that "so-fucking-long-it's-justdragging-on-and-i-wish-it-would-end" kinda way..but rather the "i'm so comfortable with this woman that it feels like i've loved her longer than i really have" kind of way...but yeh...3 whole months...3 months ago the last thing on my mind was a woman...and now, here i am...insanely happy and head-over-heels in love. it's so weird how things change...not that i'm complaining of course. i just hope that we make it another three months...and then another three after that...then three more after that...and so on...
