so my new year's eve came and went without any major dramas - which was nice. not that i was expecting drama, but these days you never never know..

so after work yesterday, linnie, nene, nicky and i all headed down to melbourne to go to a bluehouse gig (sans nic..who was lucky enough to go home to bed). it was a nice night...but for some reason i was convinced that the grrl was going to show up (she loves bluehouse) so i spent most of my time there with one eye on the door..which was pretty fucked (not to mention distracting). at one stage, i noticed a spunky tall blonde walk in and trip over a stool, and i was convinced it was her (cuz she's both spunky and a clutz) but alas..it wasn't..which (i do know) is a good thing.
it's fucked up, i know, but for some reason the thought of seeing her both excites and terrifies me in equal parts..i dont know why..
so i spent most of my new years eve both waiting to see her and hoping that i wouldn't...all the while wishing that in 2005 i would be able to let go of the ghosts of 2004.
afterall, a new year means a fresh start..

but anywho..

there is much more to write (about a certain girl that is not the grrl) but it's late, i'm tired, and i need to be up in less than 6 hours.

i really need a fucking vacation.
