so for the last few days there has been a strange smell eminating from the kitchen. rather than go investigate, i decided to simply open the window and close the kitchen door..but this morning, the smell had turned into a stench, and i couldn't help but go look.
it turns out that ali (i am only blaming her cuz she is not here to defend herself..hehe) wanted to save the yummo guacamole that i made for her the last time we had mexican (which, i think, was either late august or realy september)...and the small container could no longer contain the smell of mouldy advacado..so yeah..i went in on a search and destroy mission. thank fuck it was in a disposable container, cuz there was no way i was opening something that was a brighter shade of green than it was back when it was fresh..
heh..
at least now the smell is gone.

speaking of smell...when i got into my car after work i was overwhelmed by something stinky sweet...upon further investigation, the nice bottle of red that i meant to give to sambo yesterday had succumbed to mother nature's temperature and the cork blew..
nice..
thankfully the heat dried away any proof of a wet spot..so i guess that's a good thing. i'm just gonna have to drive around with sunroof/windows open for a while to let it air.
mmmm...i wonder if the cops pull me over will the think i've been drink driving??

oh well..

so today was an unusually boring day at work. i was supposed to be scrubbed in theatre but i wasn't in the mood. the appetite is still gone and i'm feeling strangely light headed, so i opted for recovery..at least i can't contaminate anything in there if i pass out...so there were 3 nurses and 2 students, and we had a total of 9 patients go through. how's that ratio, for ya?? should be like that more often..

but for now, i'm gonna go have a shower and go bra shopping so that i'll have some good support for my job tonite. yes boys and girls, i'm taking this health kick quite seriously...i've even been drinking diet pepsi today...
