so i'm in melbourne at the moment..in a room at the top of one of melbourne's hotels...overlooking what is quite possibly my favourite city.
i love it here in melbourne - afterall i am a melbourne grrl born and bred - but my heart is definately firmly rooted in my beloved valley.
anyway...a group of us (from the jail) are in town to go out to a show at the casino tonite, and i'm looking forward to it. i dragged mum along too so that she can meet the weird and wonderful group of people that i work with..maybe then she'll understand why the prison isn't such a horrible place to spend my days at, and why i love it so much there..but yeah..

after last nite's horrible ordeal at the prison (which i never went into in here for security reasons), it was good to go straight back this morning and "get over it"...i'm not normally one to dwell on instances..and i wasn't about to start now. i just need to keep repeating to myself "i am a good nurse...oh yes i am...i am a good nurse"..so yeah.

still haven't recieved a reply from sam...so am thinking i just need to write it off as an "oh well" and give up completely. yes i know that's something i've been claiming to have done for the last few months..but really, i haven't done it completely..but now it's time to, me thinks.

it's funny, physically (and maybe even partially mentally) i have moved on so much from sam..but there is still a little part of her that has a rather tight grip on my heart..so yeah..
no more sam talk..
