what a bloody beautiful day it is today...i swear, it's damn near perfect...really..if the grrl were here, an i didn't have class, today would definately go down as one of the most perfect days i can remember..

when i first came here to monash's gippsland campus, i always said that i'd skinny dip out in the lake before i graduated...and well, today...i went out for a walk around the lake (but, no..i didn't get my gear off and go in for a splash)..

back in the old days (ie - tooo long ago) elly and i used to always have lunch out by that lake..and for some reason, for the last 5 years i've been here at monash, i haven't once stepped withing 500metres of that lake. sure, i've stood and stared at it from the windows along the corridor...but i've never really felt the need or desire to go out there...
but today...for some reason, today was different...

it's weird how going somewhere can bring back sooooo many memories and emotions...i swear, going out to that stagnant body of water, and standing under what used to once be my favourte tree made me feel like i was 18 again...*slapping myself back into reality*..
but anyway..
i really don't think i'll be keeping my promise to myself and goiing anywhere near that lake nekkid..

so as i was saying, today's just been one of those days where everything just seems *right*...well...almost everything...because unless the grrl is right by my side, it'll never be totally *right*..

i've been thinking of her SOOOOOO much since i left home on monday morning...it's like, every single day i spend with her, i fall head-over-heels in love all over again...it's marvellous...
our two year anniversary is coming up soon (ok, so it's not that close, but it's close enough) and it's a bit scary, because even though everything is great with sam and i, all of my relationships that make it to the 2year marker seem to deteriorate within days of celebrating it...so yeah...that makes me a little paranoid...

but anyway...enough of that...

yesterday i got 2 free movie tickets in the mail for participating in some oil of olay survey thingie...wooohooooo...so i think that i might just take my grrl out to dinner and a movie on thursday nite...*smiling*
