my god...have i ever said that i hate summer?? well i do...the only reason i'm keeping this layout is because it's cool (in the cold sense)

today is a litte warmer than it's been in a while, and i'm not enjoying it one little bit *wiping sweat from everywhere*...
this morning, the grrl and i got up early to drop her car off at the windscreen place to get a new windscreen, so we went to the movies to see LOTR to kill some time. it was so nice and cool in the cinema, then we walked out side and BBaaAAMM!!, the heat nearly knocked me on my ass! it's in the mid 30's today, and is going to stay that way well into the new year...ugh...i'm such a softcock (as kate would say)..

anyway..on a much brighter note...yesterday the grrl finally gave in and bought herself a sony surround sound system like she's been wanting to for ages..we didn't get time to set it up last nite, so all afternoon she's been bending over in front of me pulling wires through the tv cabinet *grinning*..and i've been sitting her watching her...it' not that i'm lazy and unhelpful, it's just that when i've got a tall blonde bending over me while wearing short shorts - i'm gonna sit back and watch!
mind you, i prolly wouldn't feel so hot if i wasn't watching her *laughing*..

so yeah...everything is great here...althought it's only really been a few days since the grrl and i spoke about our relationship, everything just seems so much better between us...
and i'm feeling so much happier..

now if only we had airconditioning...
