pfft...the only good thing about melbourne cup day is the fact that sam get the day off work and we can spend it together..

i hate horse racing...hate it with a passion...not only is it insanely boring - but i think it's cruel. it's cruel that it takes over every tv station and if it wasn't for the 2 buffy dvd box sets that sam bought last week i'd have gone mad by now..

anyway..

so i have an early shift in the morning..bleh...which means i have to leave here sometime early this afternoon..
i do not want to leave..
i do not want to be anywhere that is more than 5 feet from my girl..
but i have to..
bleh..
she has a new toy though..thankfully..her new palm pilot thingy will keep her fairly occupied while i'm away *laughs*..she's been playing with it all day and it's so cute to watch. she get's the cutes lil geek look on her face when she get's wrapped up in a new gadget...i love it..

anyway...this entry did have a point but i got distracted thinking about the grrl and her gadget and now it's gone..*sigh*..

oh well..

ps - sarah mclachlan's new album sucks..
