i just got a message from the grrl...after hanging out all week to see her, she's just informed me that chances are she wont be coming down..*sigh*...but at least she's got a decent excuse...her sister, who'se 37weeks pregnant had a fall...so yeah, i guess i'd wanna be down in melbourne with her, too...although, i can't help but be disappointed. i should have known better than to get my hopes up tho...oh well...i should probably be used to it by now. but i wont be going to melbourne next weekend..if for nothing other than "why should i"...i'm sick of being the one that does all the travelling and makes all the effort in this relationship...yeah sure the grrl has had family and work commitments...but so have i..
anyway..

so today was a good day at the jail...all week i've been working myself up to take more blood, and today i managed to succesfully bleed 5 guys (and only be unsuccessful with one)...so yeah, that was pretty good.
in fact, i'm actually kinda bummed that week 1 is already down..this placement would have been a really good 4 week placement. i mean, it's not exactly keeping us run off our feet, but i feel i'm learning lots..so yeah..

i told mum about how i was worried that i've been eating lotsa lately, so she bought us all come combantrin...hahaha...i took 3 before, so lets just hope that they dont give me the squirrts..
now on that note, i'm gonna go to bed for a nap. i have a hair appointment in the morning - so so much for my saturday morning sleepin.
now all of my worthwhile weekend plans have rolled over and died..
