i've had about 14hours sleep in the last 3 days..yet i'm strangely energised..
it must be somthing about my grad year wrapping up, cuz lately the days just can't whizz by fast enough.

last night was my FINAL night on the medical ward...*wooohoooo*...never again will i have to work in that hell hole. knowing that last night was my final shift there, i was just getting so frustrated with it all...i'm so over wiping asses and cleaning up spew and snot. i know it's all a part of the nursing parcel, but on medical it's all i seem to ever do, and it's so frustrating. even though i'm heading up to the surgical ward for the remaining 3 weeks of my grad year (can't believe it's so close to being over!) it's a definite step up from the medical ward - which really, is basically god's waiting room..
i've gotta say i have had a pretty good grad year. even though there have been parts that i've hated (the oldies home...the medical ward *shudder*) for the best part i've learnt heaps..
the greatest thing i've come away with is this desire to be more...to do well at both the GAMSAT and UMAT and to become a doctor..or to the very least try to...
apart from studying the GAMSAT books i bought a few weeks ago, i've also been looking for hints and prep stuff online. there is one guy out there that, for $400, offers one-on-one help to any students planning on sitting the GAMSAT/UMAT...$400...mmm...that's quite a bit of money that i dont really have at the moment - but i guess it'd be a bloody good investment if it were to give me a bit of an edge..
i dunno..sometimes i wonder what i was thinking for even thinking for a minute that i could pull this off...afterall, medicine is pretty fucking huge..but then i think "why the hell can't i?"...
anyway.."nip/tuck" is on soon so i'm gonna go unwind - and think of the easiest and quickest way to come up with $400..
